The Pomo’s language was the Hokan Family. Their communication was very important since the different smaller groups of Pomo needed to stay in touch. Their alphabet was very similar to how ours looks and sounds. The Pomo would often combine multiple vowels to form one letter. They did not have a written communication, only verbal.
