All of the Pomo tribe lived in large groups, but had different types of living spaces. The different types of living spaces depended on where the people lived. For example, the people who lived in the Eastern and South Eastern area would use tule reeds that grew around the marshy areas in the lake. What they ate also depended on where they lived. Since the main part of the civilization was on the coastal area of California, anyone who lived there could access fish, seals, sea lions, shellfish, and seaweed.
